On January 11, 2008, Sir Edmund Hillary died of heart failure at the Auckland City Hospital at around 9 am NZDT(10 January at 20:00 UTC) at the age of 88.
this post is a tribute to the man who was among the first climbers to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. inspiring and determined adventurer he was.
