lol remind me never to yawn so hard next time. actually, there were times i yawned so hard that i had chest cramps. oh man the pain was so excruciating, it was like a bloody truck on top of me. :X
i thought my final year project is almost over if i hand in my final report this thursday with the final panel review next week. but nooooo, the supervisor actually wants us to go further, and by further she means she wants us to go to this competiton, competing with NUS, NTU and other polys (IVP? lol). and in order to do that, she wants us to work even harder to get results.
the good: there's a cert if my grp participates. it will matter when i apply for a job etc.
the bad: repeat the same tedious process that i have been doing for the past 8 months till the competition day. thats like in 2 months time?
the cert is tempting, but to be honest i need a break from all these project crap. u burn my sept holidays, and u want to burn my dec hols? all Loony could say "up to u fiq, i anything" luckily the supervisor didnt force, she just kept saying its up to us, and she's bringing this up because she knows we are capable of it and are hardworking(lol yaaa) decisions decisions oh decisions.
sigh. i want my holidays so i can go to OB camps tho :(
anyways, im sitting here at home like an idiot, blogging instead of doing my 200page report that needs to be handed in by thursday. i need motivation. like. now. omg.

dilemma
so many things to buy, yet i can choose only one at a time.
my dad's SIM card is M1, so he went to renew his plan and got a Nokia 6288. he gave this to my mum. the next day, he received a $200 handphone voucher from Starhub. since my mum is using a hi-card, he decided to get a subscription plan for her using the voucher.
so now under his name he has the Cable TV, internet and mobile plans. with 3 contracts under his name, one of the benefits is of course what Singaporeans love, FREE STUFFS. so my dad got an offer for a Free 20" HD Ready TV and a Hubstation(i still dont know wtf is this). cut things short, in singlish: free what, take lo.
so yaaay a new -small- tv :D. it just so happened that my bro and i were talking about buying a new HDTV or HD Ready TV to support game consoles such as Xbox360/PS3. so now, with the TV done, the dilemma is which to buy? Xbox360 or PS3?
let me add salt to the wound. i also want a new super computer which will cost me like $1500, altho i do plan to get this at a later time when i graduate and hopefully get some cash before NS.
and now we have another extra handphone in the house, Sony Ericsson W880i (using the $200 voucher). my dad's using a antique phone (lol) and refuses to change it because he doesnt want to relearn how to use a new phone. my bro and i are happy with our phones.
but im sooo tempted to use W880i because its kinda pretty, but whats stopping me is the keypad, as u can see its pretty small for my big fingers. :( thinking of selling W880i, but...... :/
opinions please :D

gone in 30seconds
so its practically 1230am now. last wed i kinda hurt my metatarsal* bone while jogging(why the fuck must something happen when i wanna go for a run). luckily thursday was deepavali, because i couldnt even make my left foot touch the floor :S
but u know, im stubborn. i went for rugby training on sat, pain or no pain, dont care >.> the guys wanted to play contact rugby(tackling etc) for abit after some basic training and runs, but mr feidzal said to play touch rugby. (something like playing catching but with some rules)
so yeah. since im a man of few words, i've decided to draw lol :D

blue: opponent
red: my team
green: me(oh i love green :D)
black: the ball
arrows from people: direction of flow
arrow from ball: where the ball is being passed to
so basically the opponent has been pushing us hard and reaching their try line(goal line).
one of the things that i love about rugby is intercepting a pass made by the opponent. as u can see, i was anticipating a pass to that guy on my left, so i decided to intercept it and got the ball instead. this is where the chaos begins :D (well sort of)

oh btw we were playing on a soccer field, so the 50m mark is actually the mid way point. so yeah i got the ball, and was sprinting down to the opponents try line as u can see on the diagram on the left.
as i turned my head left and right to see who is catching up to touch me(touching means i have to stop running and restart the game at where i was touched, which is bad because the opponents will be ready to defend).of course, i saw sooooo many people chasing me, so the stress factor is there.
i had 2 choices:
1) pass the ball
2) sprint as if a cheetah** is chasing me(dont laugh, :p)
i went for choice 2. greedy la u see. but at a split second while i was sprinting, the memory of me getting 2nd for 100m in pri 3 struck me. but soon after that all i could do is say oh shiiiit in my mind lol >.>
i'll let u imagine what happened in the end. because im tired and i have a presentation today so goodnight!
*metatarsal = wikipedia it :p solves most of your problems
**cheetah: true story, Bryan Habana(rugby player) sprinted with the cheetah, almost matching the speed of it. more on youtube if u are interested.
